The Hobbit Hole XXXI - Mawwage is what bwings us togethew today!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Mawwage is what bwings us togethew today!

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

How about approximate due date, prospective names M or F, and sonograms as they become available?

Unless I've jumped to the wrong conclusion, a\in which case I shall own myself an ass...

I've known several people who've had a 'bicycle built for two". In none of the cases has it been a happy and fun experience for the parties involved. The 'bicycle' has, in all cases, been traded in for two separate bicycles.

Miss Peege says that Annie should burrow under a nice warm comforter or pile of blankets.

Annie asks why she should curl up and get warm when she can walk around and bleat at her mistress and generally make her life a living h*ll? LSA

Umm....because she'd be warm?

Hooray! I'm not getting the draft from the windows that I did last year.

Now I have to do something about the door....

~mornin~

Since I was up until almost 3:00 a.m. blogging and actually really watching Season 2 of "Lost" I slept in. Thought I had a rehearsal at noon, but it's not until 1:00. So I put off yard work this a.m. until I get back...oops.

Jr. is taking the SAT. Don't even ask.

Wife, Nana and Luke are leaving in few minutes to go to a 50th Anniversary Event for wife's aunt and uncle. It's about 4 hrs. away. Jr. and I aren't going.

Nana's had a bad arthritis week. She came downstairs this morning and asked ~me~ to help her finish getting dressed. It was just a sweater that she couldn't get completely on. But still...

Some days are good. More are not. It's a roller coaster ride.

So, there's that.

It's a song-n-dance number from a Monty Python movie.

What does it have to do with new arrivals, though?

Off to feed ponies...getting a late start here.

*groan* It's a song-n-dance about new arrivals... and that's all I'm going to say about that.
