Heh... If you still had the dog, you might have been barely speaking to us by now...
Was a sweet dog, though... :~D
Ugh, ecurbh no function coffee well without. Time to make another batch.
I think I would have gotten used to the idea. Maybe. ;-)
Yes, very sweet. I'll grant that.
I find it rather amazing that the three people who live the closest to each other on this whole thread are the three people talking the most on the thread.
Heh!
I wish I could see that South Pole.
It's a little goofy, isn't it :~)
I guess you'll get the South Pole in a year when it hits syndication, eh? Unless you want to come here to see it :~)
heh heh!
I wish.
Matthew is taking his 3rd science test. It's a killer.
We're out in the shop with the Precious.
I ordered the other two tires...
If you can get here by eight or so, we'll save ya some pizza...
I'm at about 53k in my pre-NaNo story, and I just realized the last *ten pages* are nothing but dialog.
It's all plot exposition and therefore important and there isn't any other easy way to get it in, but...I guess I need to work on that tendency.

Ha! I was in the living room last night and needed to talk to my son who was upstairs. Instead of yelling to him I called him on his cell phone.
Ha!
I only have a 900 square foot house, but I still wish I had my old baby monitor now and then so I can call the jedis to the table without hollering.
G'nad just called and his appointment went well. They don't want to see him back until two years from now...so it's all good. Yippi!!!
Mrsnad
Woohooo!
Praise the Lord! That's wonderful news. I was thinking about you all day. I'm so glad it came out right.
Hehehe. Dialog is great. Soooo easy to write and then you realize you have no action...
Five minute break before I start pre-gym chores. I was lazy yesterday and it shows.
Good news - that's a relief. Best wishes to the family
Says Ike, Mrs. MacBeth's given name was Gruoch. Such a thing could have a negative effect upon one's psyche.
I'm so with you. I mentioned the briefing yesterday? Well, the recipients decided to rave to my upper management. But was the first they'd heard of it - mainly because my immediate management can't be bothered to elevate nifty stuff like that. So it was a "surprise!"
Sooooo.... I got spanked again. Bigger stick this time. Dangit.
Wonderful! Glad to hear it!
Great news!
It's seductively easy. And for NaNo, where wordcount is all that matters...it isn't a big deal. But for "real" writing, I should probably try to cut back on the gabbing.
But the two characters that are doing the talking haven't seen one another in a couple of years, and in the meantime the first has done a lot of gallivanting and a lot of getting into trouble (though it's not *entirely* his fault), and the other has gotten engaged, gotten involved in a business he now can't escape, and found out that his Dad plans to destroy the universe. Well...part of it. So it takes awhile for them to catch up.
