I always prefer a deep throw in that situation. If it's picked off it's the same as a punt.
I see Southwest is back to form on the commercials.
This new Manning commercial is almost as annoying as the "Cut that meat!" spot.
The best thing about Batch at QB - a heavy dose of Willie Parker (he's on my fantasy team).
Batch made the throw it just wasn't caught.
Favre is the king of the hailmary for an interception.
I wonder why.
Good to see you hanging around for the game.
With the punting around here the last 2 years, hat's not entirely a bad thing.
The ones at the end of the halves almost shouldn't count on the INT stats for QB's.
Nerves perhaps.
Hah.
SACK! Damnit!
Not a good block on Porter.
Yeah, and Barnes was picked over Beasley. Ah well...
The defenses are looking GOOD!
Indy tried blocking Porter with their guards in the playoff game last year. We all know how that worked out.
Happened like this at the Carolina preseason game. Both defenses were hot, offenses couldn't get much done.
Definitely going to be a low-scoring game.
Somebody needs to tell the Steelers special teams to stay away from a bouncing punt (next week, that is).
Yep, same result here. Not too worried, though I don't like having that 1 sack stat hanging out there.
Oh great. Another Miami-FSU "shootout".
I can't believe he did that. A little rust, maybe. Happened in the preseason game against the Bucs, too.
