Ain't going to help, though it'd be nice to beat you guys with Ben throwing.
Time to go out on a limb. Dolphins 20, Steelers 13.
"Great teams overcome injuries." --Joey Porter
Maybe they will. Although Ben doesn't put up the flashiest numbers as far as yards and TDs go, he is the engine that drives the team and makes it work.
The Steelers run the ball anyway, so it's not a big loss for them. I just don't see them winning this one.
Are there going to be two Monday Night games per week this season..one for the east and one for the West?
I already have my tickets for the Phins December game in Buffalo. Sitting in the end zone near the field.
I think it is a big loss for them, although not as much as it would be if their running game and defense weren't as strong. But there are some questions on their running game now that Bettis is gone--can Willy Parker come through in short yardage and goaline situations?
Regardless, I picked the Fins to win even before the appendectomy. But my second sight is clouded by ill-will. As the Leader of the Bengals says, "I hate them, because I'm jealous and want what they have [the Lombardi]. I guess I'm not that evolved."
Say hello to Ronnie and Chris for me. They'll be headed your way a lot.
As the Leader of the Bengals says, "I hate them, because I'm jealous and want what they have [the Lombardi]. I guess I'm not that evolved."
Only time you'll ever see "Bengals" and "Lombardi" in the same sentence.
Yeah, because after the Bengals win it so convincingly they'll remame it the Lewis Trophy.
Especially with Big Ben out, gotta go with the Dolphins tonight. Your score seems about right.
Maybe on the PS2, but not in real-life NFL.
Just the first week.

Maybe not the part about renaming the trophy, but I feel good about the Bengals for the forseeable future. You are a Browns fan, yes? You must be frustrated after a hopeful offseason only to have a series of unfortunate events at the center position.
Yep, that mess has made them the "center" of attention lol.
I don't expect anything great but maybe they'll surprise us this season.
Last year was my first ever NFL game I attended (of course that was Buffalo in October and not December). I sat in the exact same spot and got to see the Phin defence up close. Just great stuff.
I've only gone to a handful of Saints games in the Superdome, but it's always fun. So far, they're 3-1 in games I've been to, but I think I had the most fun in that one loss than the others. The Rams came to town and Eric Dickerson ran all over them. Best RB I've ever seen. The real fun began when the first half, mercifully, ended, and 70,000 Saints fans booed the hell out of the team for such lousy play. We stayed just long enough to join in the booing before we left. I think the final was Rams 28-Saints 10. My other forays to Saints games were more successful for the home team, but that one was truly memorable.
Go DAWGS!
Go FISH! Beat the Stillers!
Here's thinking the Stillers will sneak by no matter what.
GO STILLERS
