Indeed.
Game's getting better now, huh?
Because Tiki Barber is just that good. I think he's an MVP candidate this year.
Because that's the way it always is?
ESPN and NBC are very pleased.
He might have won it last year if it wasn't for Alexander.
Heck, I'm very pleased.
Wes freakin' Welker, ladies and gentlemen.
Well that and he didn't blame the Giants playoff loss on his offensive line.
Agreed. Alexander should slow down, which leaves the window open for Barber. Faces tough competition from Tomlinson and at least one guy named Johnson, though.
OTOH, not bad that the the wounded Stillers are leading SI's pick for SB XLI with their best player (27-4 as a starter) on the bench.
Why should NBC be barred from sportscasting?
Reason number five thousand:
Their sound engineers are stoners.
Dear NBC:
Ever heard of noise-cancelling filters? Ever heard of pre-game sound-checks? Ever heard of on-the-fly adaptations?
Good f***ing grief!
Wounded how? Roethlisberger's the only starter sitting out, and it's not as if you guys are a run-first team. Meanwhile, Miami has injuries of its own, Culpepper is reading your blitzes, and you're only 4 points up.
I'd say Miami is doing fine.
Unless Rivers went to the Aaron Brooks quarterback school, Tomlinson should be okay.
Whoops; meant to say that you guys are NOT a pass-first team. Apologies.
I heard an interview with new Patriot Doug Gabriel. He said the difference between the Patriots practice and the Raiders was startling.
I'm just happy to see the Stillers still in the game with Ben on the bench against the mighty Fins.
It's their first NFL broadcast since when, 97? Maybe they forgot everything.
Yup 1997 season. Their last game was SB 32.
Even now they're still a run-first team, though with Batch in, they're passing more to pull defenders back.
Be nice to see Ronnie get some rushing yards.
Yep, although I didn't watch NFL in 97 cause of the Browns thing.
