Ridiculous. Once a spouse is snoring, the other stuff has already happened if it is going to, that night.
I have used ear plugs, that way neither person is kept awake, either by snoring, or being poked or woken up to roll over. Absolutely no need for separate rooms, that is a bit extreme, and why would anyone want to go that route? Deprive yourself the closeness and sleep in another room? Not this gal. If he snores exceptionally loudly, he is not the least bit offended if I use earplugs, since it allows him to sleep soundly too.
As long as check ups are done and you know your spouse is otherwise healthy, this article is a lot of noise about nothing.

I have to work long hours and I have to have a full nights sleep.... plus I'm a relatively light sleeper.
Even with earplugs, I can't sleep with a snorer....toss in sleeping in the same bed with a 'thrasher/kicker/tosser' and sex quickly follows sleep in being lost.
I like sex, I like having it in a bedroom....but I'll keep sleeping in a seperate bedroom so I can function like a human in the morning.
