Which means that the evolution also must be an accident, and to argue for it is folly.
For if we are an accident, how do we explain forethought, intent, or objectives?
And if they argue for the Big Bang theory, their logic wouldn't carry, because their arguments must also be accidents.
Why would it be? This looks like a very recent observation - more work is definitely needed.
If they are right, aspects of the theory would be need to placed under more scrutiny, for sure, but the Big Bang Theory has too many successes to be completely wrong - its predictions have matched observation in a myriad of areas.
On the other hand, note where they say: "And it would be implausible to suggest that several clusters could all emit microwaves at just the right frequency and intensity to match the cosmic background radiation." ~ unless all those clusters are actually managing to "lase" ~ that is, emit their aggregate radiation in a synchronized fashion just like the little light that tricks out your CD system, but in tune with the cosmic background radiation.
Makes me want to ask if any of these cheenyouses ever worked with a "maser"?
Gad, even Robert Humphreys is getting old ~ maybe they haven't.
Fred Hoyle is probably having a grin over this, from the great beyond.
