So, who shot first?
This is a contract hit that went sour, not just a bad stop on a DUI charge. Besides, the officer seems not to have called in for assistance on this one, but we shall see.
Foley's gonna' get rich off the public Fur Shur.
Your question is not valid when a car is coming right at you and will kill you. You protect yourself every time your life is at risk. Don't worry about details. Dead is dead.
Sounds to me like self-defense on the part of the woman, or that cop sure better have a really sound reason for firing a warning shot ~ which he doesn't.
It's pretty obvious this is a bad cop doing a hit for gambling interests UNLESS he can prove otherwise, and I don't think he can.
...and to hell with the American standard for justice!
I don't agree at all. You sound like a liberal lawyer.
Take away their pension, vacations, sick leave, and early retirement age and your typical government employee is going to cave in and tell all.
You sound like a representative of the police union in San Diego county.
The odds favor out-of control cop or out-of-control athlete.
In that order.
If not, then it's a cop on a mission for somebody.
He appears to have done run out of bullets!
Some of those football players are tough.
Which, de facto, means he wasn't in fear for his life making it a bad shooting.
Where do they get these stupid cops?
Yep. That's why the 'warning shot' makes no sense. If you have time to fire a warning shot, your life isn't in danger...
Think about it.
What does that have to do with your confindence that the cop is a hit man?
He was in the vicinity of his operable motor vehicle.
That makes everything else a moot point - sadly.
He was shot while his car was in his own driveway according to the story. How do we know he'd even been somewhere else other than the cop's story?
There you go, being logical again.
Doesn't pay.
Thanks to a couple of Freepers this weekend we have discovered there's been a veritable outbreak of cop shootings in San Diego county.
I guess it's not all Wild Animal Park and San Diego Zoo.
Ahhh man, now what did you have to go and say that for???
You just go right on and keep listening to that program because we do know it makes you feel better...And that is important...
You know what I find funny about that program when I've randomly scanned through it on my trips up north???
Every single caller into that program sounds just like the host, no matter what part of the country they call in from...same voice style, inflections, sentence structure, tempo...etc etc...
"R" Juniors I call them...Almost the basis for not switching the station to Tejano music on the AM dial...
(BTW, which is the only true way to listen to that genre of music...You know...Music???)
Spoken like a true Jr. Rome-inite!
Must not take much to entertain you...
Whereas, I derive much entertainment from knowing it doesn't take much to get over shlups like yourself...
Opps, wait...I think the "greatest sports talk show of all time" is coming up shortly...Make sure you have your homework done, and you've taken your bath and have yer PJ's with the little booties on before you can listen in...
Maybe I'm just easily entertained...I dunno...
We got another one of these football player shootings ~ a broad daylight (or highway light) shooting in Denver ~ http://www.breitbart.com/news/2007/01/01/D8MCL2P02.html
