Bad omen... I wonder how many years that's been going on?

Jerry has done more for MD sufferers than any other million people, and all his critics can do is whine about how Jerry makes them look pitiful (deserving of pity).
The jerks are pitiful, but they do it to themselves. It's a disease even worse than MD.

he has raised an astounding $1.35 billion. ....telethon funds spearheaded research that identified the gene and protein defining the disease and ultimately helped lengthen life. And people with the disease have the nerve to complain. Unbelievable.

We got our first television in 1948. By 1951 Uncle Miltie, The Show of Shows, Jackie Gleason and the Martin and Lewis telethon ruled the airways. One year my Mom took the bus and subway to New York, (we lived in a suburb of Newark) so that she could hand the money to Martin and Lewis! She was the talk of the neighborhood for weeks!
Phooey on protesters!!!!!

Ervin is distributing a documentary entitled "The Kids Are All Right," which chronicles his years of dissent.
