Firefox keeps losing my bookmarks! I want an alternative because the third time is the last straw. It's fine for surfing but I make tons of bookmarks, and it loses them all!

If you're using FF 1.5 or later, the program automatically saves backups of your bookmarks file in the 'bookmarkbackups' folder in your profile directory. Lost bookmarks - MozillaZine Knowledge Base

I also highly recommend using MozBackup - Backup tool for Firefox and Thunderbird to make periodic backups of your profile directory. I do this at least once a week.
