What a weird thread. I love those 2 bands and am significantly younger than their target audience. Both were bands that could've survived in any era.

Unfortunately, they could never get a foothold today. We went from hair to alternative to nothing in the past 20 years. Radio and MTV couldn't care less. I'm starting to wonder if rock will ever recover with street thug "music" being so strong in the market. Just have to wait and see.
