Lots of Afghanis in Fremont. Ceres, on the other hand, is out in the Central Valley. It is a suburb of Modesto.

Fremont, the town he is from, is the center of the Afghan population in the Bay Area. Many of these folks came to the area twenty-five years ago when Russia was creating havoc in their former country.
