I want to take a minute to say something. I'm very, very proud to be associated with all of you on Free Republic in this important search for truth. Early on, Howlin kept the threads going and pinged new articles and set up the threads. As she went on to other things, I made up my mind I was going to see this thing through to the end.
And for a long time, Free Republic was IT. No other blogs, bulletin boards or anything. WE stayed at it though. I want you all to know I'm extremely glad we hung in there. We may not get the credit - the other blogs may claim the glory. But I know what YOU ALL did, and I'm very proud to be a part of it.

About calling these officers "a-oles", could you point to me to what the ones mentioned in this article did to deserve such a tag? I am familiar with Gottlieb's belated memo which is certainly suspect, but what about the others?

It's my belief that FR is a collaboration of many talents; experts, bloggers, researchers, investigators, insiders, activists, and a host of others in search of the truth. FR may not get credit but we are making a difference. MSM and politicos are taking note. The Durham realm may be slow learners.

I would like to say the same. There are many people on this forum who do a better job that any professional investigators or news media personnel. Many here have uncovered evidence that would have gone unnoticed otherwise, and likewise -- I consider myself fortunate to have been associated with all of you.
