Look at the soldier's hands just to the left of the "end" of the mic cord. He was moving them and they are blurred.

The one soldier just to the right of her leg (face hidden) while out of focus appears to be blurred also.

Somebody with a high resolution copy of the picture could look at the "end" of the the cord and see if it fades away or is a fairly sharp cut.

It is possible.

But, look at the guy front left, most prominent in his light-toned camouflage. Now, look at the man behind his left shoulder and note that his face is also blurred. Again, look at the very tall shadow running the height of the wall in the same position the mic should be and probably just to the right of where it should be.
