I've heard talk of calling/writing cable companies to drop SciFi channel because of the SG-1 cancellation and the showing of MUFFIN WRESTLING on a MUFFIN "science fiction" channel

 

I read that those that put the EWC on scifi channel are very happy with the ratings........so guess it's not going anywhere.   I have no idea who it is that's watching it though.

Do these people not understand the concept of specialty channels? Why be one of 10 channels going after 40% of the audience, when you can be the only channel targeting 10%?

They want to turn the channel into a faceless commodity, not understanding that sci-fi fans now have access to thousands of DVD's and internet sites.

A series of assertions with zero supporting argument, reasons or explanations...

If you like the series, why would it matter if this was just my opinion or if I had some kind of deep, intellectual reasons behind my opinion?

I liked the original movie and I love science fiction. However, any time I happen to flip to a channel where this show is playing, I kind of cringe and can't resist the urge to change the channel. I'm sure it's my loss, but unless I buy the first season and force-feed, I don't see any hope to change that reaction. :)

Yes, obviously. :) So, if millions of clinton fans have disagreed with me for at least as many years, should I reconsider my opinion that he's just plain awful? ;)
