Come up to urban parts of Canada where it is predominantly Socialist and you will see just how false this statement is. I can't believe I just responded to a f*****g troll.
Hey, before you go getting all self-hateful towards your country, remember that you could say the same thing about many urban (or for that matter rural) areas of the US that are largely socialist. In fact, the US has more socialist welfare programs than Canada does. We have medicare, welfare and subsidized housing. The US has Medicare, welfare, subsidized housing, food stamps, WIC and AFDC, just off the top of my head. Oh, we have the baby bonus or whatever they call it, too. Sounds like a toss-up to me.
