The problem is the Sonoma charge is a misdemeanor and Sonoma deferred to Boulder without seeking extradition themselves. We don't know if "released" means on the street or released to Sonoma.

Bottom line is Boulder has no papers to keep him on and the time to charge him or release him has expired.

One of the many things Mary Lacy screwed up was not letting Karr be rendered to Sonoma from LA while she processed his DNA.

Hopefully this creep isn't on the street.
