He was never in a Thai jail.
He was arrested at his apartment at the request of the United States.
Yeah, those Thai jails are pretty gnarley, I bet he's glad to be out.
For crying out loud. Most of us deliberately turned off this case after the first nonstop coverage but it was stated ON TV on more than one occasion because I heard it myself..."that any place is better than a Thai prison".
So if that's incorrect fine--but we did hear it reported in the beginning and after that turned it off. Sorry we are not all as up to the details as some experts here.
