I don't think so. He was sitting in jail in Thailand on sex charges or some such..but either way he was looking down the barrel of a long prison stay. Where would you rather be...in jail in the U.S. or in jail in Thailand?
In any event he got a free ride back to the U.S., a chance to be a celebrity of sorts, and he walks away after a short stretch for purjury, impeding a criminal investigation, or some B.S. charge scott free and he doesn't have to face the charges in Thailand. What a deal !!!

We better pray he goes to California to face charges, OR else Boulder DA might be giving him a free ticket BACK to Thailand...stranger things have happened.
