the list of great guitarists--let alone individual solos--that the poll responders apparently never heaard of would itself make a better poll

Well, it was from a rock station...

Otherwise I would have had to include Grant Geissman's work on Chuck Mangione's Feels So Good album.

Nor could I leave out Al DiMeola's Fantasia Suite for Two Guitars.
