Please, MSM, give us Jon Benet all the time...

There was actually BIG coverage of his flight from Thailand to the US, including how he sipped champagne and ate prawns and pate.

It made me sick.

Personally, I don't give a rat's ass if this freak is guilty or some kind of nutbag hoping for notoriety...just PLEASE put him in with the general population when the freak show is over.

I don't recall many news stories about Jeffrey Dahmer these days.

Uhm, it will be fairly easy for the police to determine if this person reported this indicident or not. Skepticism is fine as long as it makes sense. You should be objective rather than making your mind up with when all of the facts aren't available.

My theory is that Karr is the way the Boulder DA gets John Ramsey up on a witness stand, without a lawyer in the courtroom protecting him from piercing questions. Look for the DNA result to be "inconclusive". The reports this last week about contamination of the sample are meant to prepare us all for that finding.

Patsy's dead, she'd look like a sympathetic victim in front of the media and the public, but John Ramsey doesn't have that going for him. Expect him to shoulder the blame for sticking his daughter out there as pervert bait, at the very least.

"Yep, you can take to the bank what you learn from a bus rider"

His Nike brand shoes were on fire, and his nerves were made of cold steel
His hair gel was black and shiny and his hot breath he could feel
A bolt of fear shot through him as he looked up at this guy
For he saw that bus rider coming and he heard his mournful cry:

Yippie ye yi, yippie ye yo, that observant bus rider, riding with that wierd guy.

His face was gaunt, his eyes were blurred, his shirt all soaked with sweat
He was riding hard to catch that girl, but he hadn't caught her yet
For he had to ride forever on that bus and with that observant guy
The observant rider riding a bus to nowhere at Christmas claimed he heard the wierd guy cry:

"Yippie ye yi, yippie ye yo," the bus rider and that wierd Karr guy.

If Karr is found guilty I will be I guess "one of the few" in the camp that believed his confession and guilt from beginning. I've been falsely accused before, for much lesser crime (bad checks on business venture), but still when you know in your heart and mind that you are not guilty and geting screwed you don't react like that, I don't care how mental this guy is..I saw guys like that well, guys in mental health part of LA county jail (he's a real doosy though!) and one thing was constant, it's real rare to find an out and out confessor...I think Karr was brought up with good morals, and now can't live with himself...remember, the KEY point, when police first got him he said "second degree murder"...in his warped mind he thinks he can escape death penalty and has been going over this constantly for 10 years as to what he would do..nobody pleads guilty to a dealth penalty charge, that's insanity!...so he'll get his day in court and this will be the opposite of the OJ case...same coverage, but opposite talk...presumed guilty who pleads 100% not guilty (I have a unique theory, but will suppress) vs. confessed sex pedophile and killer almost being presumed innocent (strange in our culture) with us adding it up to "did he really do it"...SCORE ONE FOR THE POLICE!

You know, I hope against hope you are right and I am wrong. It would mean Boulder PD are not on a par with some tiny island PD like Aruba and completely incompetent. But the NE is right much more often than wrong, and they already have found an objective alibi witness. So, start singin my song...

BTW, I just finished John Douglas's analysis and am more convinced than ever that it was Burke who dunnit.

>>>He did report it contemporaneously soon after>>>

Yes, if he took the time to report it to the authorities back when it happened, he would have made an effort to recall it THEN. Then 10 years later, the details are still there because he made it a point to remember 10 years earlier to relay the info to the tip line.

I witnessed a weird happening once regarding a burlary and I remember details from 8 years ago. If something stands out and you tell yourself to remember, you can.

I think I saw him too. It was in a little coffee house in Tangiers. He was wearing a yellow suit with a black pinstripe carnation...

I agree completely. Assuming that the description of how the arrest went down is true, I don't see how the confession can be a ploy for publicity. From what I read in the paper, Thai authorities went to his apartment, told him he was under arrest for crimes in the U.S., and took him into custody. At some point, Karr asked what the arrest warrant was for. If he knew that the only crime he had committed in the U.S. was child porn, he would not have asked.

They told him first degree murder. He instantly responded no, it was second degree murder because it was "an accident." So he knew right away what they were talking about. Sounds to me like a guilty man.

Yeah I know what you mean but this is kinda interesting to me. A high school girl disappeared from a small community on Galveston Bay a few years ago.

We had a house there and about a month after she disappeared I saw a man standing in the middle of the street staring at her house. When I drove past him, he looked at me for a second and I have never seen such an evil gaze. I wondered at the time if he was the one who kidnapped her and I have never forgotten what he looked like.

A few years later a man was convicted of another abduction in the area and except for the hair and beard he looked like the man in the street.

They tried to pin the first abduction him but could not. I personally, from that brief encounter still think it was him.

I posted the "accident & "2nd degree" bit early on. He actually leaned into the mike to make sure it was heard. Everything else was "no comment".

I loved her?? I was with her? There was no "love" in that murder. I often wonder about the heart on her hand. No one has ever said how it got there. Did Karr put it on her as an identifier BEFORE that night?
