I know. I am the least knowledgable among us. It's crazy that the Tar Smokers led as long as they did.
I do like hanging with the cool peeps, though!
I won two tickets to the Busch race at work. In the Dale Terrace - up high.

Good lookin' thread WCG! Thanks for the ping.
It sure does get crowded inside the bowl!
Off ta see to my FRFL picks. Probably shouldn't change any as I forgot to do so for 2 weeks and averaged 300 pts each week! LOL

Oh wait, Nascar has retracted Cuz's fine and probation slap on the wrist.
Instead they are placing him in the nauty chair for 30 minutes. [you have to watch Super Nanny to understand that] lol
If only he would have said the "S" word, that would have cost him 25 points and $25,000 big ones!

Knowledge has nothing to do with it, it's mostly the luck of the draw. :)
Congrats on your tickets!!!! That must have made your day!!!

Okay ...... this race should be alotta fun! Some tempers are already up, there are chase spots on the line, and they're racing at BRISTOL, baby! I will go ahead and predict the round number of 22 cautions for this brawl ..... er .... race.
Here are a few shots of my and Mrs. JackKnife's trip to the beach last weekend.
Sandpiper eating a fish .......
Mrs. JackKife enjoying the sea and sand ..... and suds!
Look closely ..... the ball in the center of the pic ..... my putt for birdie on the par 4 - 9th ..... of course I missed the putt and made par. D'OH!
There was an offshore powerboat race on sunday afternoon about a mile down the beach. I grabbed the camera and told Mrs. JackKife I'd be back in a bit. Never seen these guys. Pretty awesome power and sound! (My cheap camera doesn't do it justice)
Last, but not least, my fat butt parked in my favorite beach chair.

I am the least knowledgable among us. You.re way too modest. I met Mrs don-o the other night and she is a charmer...

That's HER. This is me!!
I taught her a very few things. The Bogart film, Casablanca, Gone With the Wind, bluegrass and old time music, the truth of the War of Northern Aggression. That's about it. And I did broach the subject of home schooling before we married.
Otherwise, I have been the student

Congrats on your tickets!!!! That must have made your day!! It was a pleasant surprise; but I doubt if I even go. See if the boy wants 'em. I went to Tennessee football for years and have had all I need of huge crowds.

Can someone please post a link to those outstanding and HUGE photos taken of the crowds at Bristol? Including the camping city outside the track?
Thanks.

On
Inside Nextel Cup, Despain, Schrader and others were disparaging the conspiracy theory that the 48 wrecks early in a race on purpose so they can make it go faster.
Granted, I don't think it holds much water either, but it is worth considering.
It has been reported time and time again that if your car is damaged during the race, NASCAR will generally overlook any deviations from the rules made to that area of the car. You can decrease your aero drag, and all sorts of things with the strategic use of tape repair.
Additionally only a fool would put it past Chad Knauss to not try something like this.
Where I think the theory loses all credibility is the idea that a team and driver are going to risk the other damage to the front end that a hit in the wall is going to do.

I knew I wouldn't have time enough to do the FL this year, so I didn't sign up. But if I were, I'd be runnin' Bobby!

""Burton says he feels he can still get the job done on the track and is confident he'd do a great job for any sponsor." -- Jayski" I read he is going to one of the Toyota teams and probably not Red Bull, that leaves two possibilities.
