I was watching BACK IN THE DAY today. Junior featured the first race at Ontario Raceway in California, I think form 1971. Sixty-plus cars started the race, three wide!

They said "oil on the track" caused it. But I saw a car seriously overheating buckets. Could water cause that many cars to spin out?
