Michele is running for Congress in Minnesota. Here is a snippet from her campaign website:
According to the nonpartisan Tax Foundation, Minnesota taxpayers had to work until May 3rd of 2006 (ranked 5th highest nationally) just to pay their total tax bill. This is unacceptable. I will work tirelessly to put hard earned money back in taxpayers' pockets - where it belongs - not in the hands of Washington bureaucrats. We cannot tax and spend our way to prosperity.
Cutting taxes across the board creates an opportunity for all Americans and fosters an atmosphere of innovation to help spur investment, economic growth and job creation. I will continue to support meaningful tax relief for individuals, families, businesses, and farms, such as:
Making President Bush's tax cuts permanent Personal tax rate reductions Permanent repeal of the Death Tax Further reduction of the Marriage Penalty Tax Elimination of the Alternative Minimum Tax Capital gains tax reduction Simplification of the tax code. I believe the changes brought about by these tax relief provisions will provide important tax reductions for all American families, small businesses, and farmers, and will continue to ensure that our economy remains the most competitive in the world. I will continue to support a conservative platform of smaller government, fewer government regulations and reduced taxes for hard working Americans.
That will be a nice cash cow. I hope she wins!!
I'm thrilled that she hasn't avoided being linked with the president, unlike Mark Kennedy, who WILL lose.
He's just too stupid for his own good.
Are you sure she'a GOP babe? I doubt the people she hangs around are.
Nope. And I will send no $$ to anyone who distances themselve from the Prez in the WOT.
They don't have this kinda looker in the demonrat party.
"Are you sure she'a GOP babe? I doubt the people she hangs around are."
You would be incorrect.
I hate the word "wrong".
If Michele loses in Minnesota, it will be because she has NEVER strayed from her pro-life, anti-abortion, anti-gay marriage positions.
NEVER!!
She's much better on TV than radio.
Karen, if you're lurking, I'm sorry.
Great to look at, good with sound bites, but almost unlistenable when trying to conduct a radio show.
Her interviewee skills far outshine her skills as a host.
She has sat in several times for our local (Sacramento) morning conservative talker - Eric Hogue.
Yikes. You forgot the hag that Michele's running against in her race.
That's a dude, isn't it?
No, but she is running on her father's name.
I thought the last name would be Castanza.
SOME libs may mean well, but no ever do well.
Excellent. Thnaks
