To my knowledge, he isn't being extradited to Calif. He's landing there and then having some official Identification bureaucratic paperwork done and then being transported to Colorado in a day or 2 afterward. At least that's what I heard last.

I was focusing to events after they are done with him in Colorado. He will land in California first, and unless California authorities grab him he will go on to Colorado. After they are done there, the issue of jail time in California will arise. But since he will be in Colorado, and there is no extradition for misdemeanors, Colorado won't hold him even if California requests it. There has to be a felony issue or a Federal issue for Colorado to hold him if it is determined that he is not involved in the Ramsey case. And assuming that Colorado will have nothing futher to prosecute him for, he will be a free man.
