Ever see the Bill Mauldin "Willie and Joe" cartoons that came out during WWII and Korea? Absolutely priceless. They were full of cartoons of bitchin' Joes. But the bitches were always legitimate and every one of us "Joe's" could identify with every single one. Bill died back in January 2003 at 81. God love him, may he forever rest in peace. Two of my favorites:

Love those pictures. My Dad, a WWII Vet, had a book with these cartoons in it. I remember that was one of my very favorite books from one of "his" shelves in the bookcase. Boy do those cartoons bring back a lot of memories.
