If you fly a great deal go to a TSA office and let them do a background check on you and issue you a special fly card. When did the gov. start doing that, and if so is it taking place in all states?

TSA has made vague announcements from time to time about "trusted travelers" programs, but it is clear that they hate the very idea and that no such program will ever happen unless it has been gutted to the point that nobody will care.
