Here's a thought about the head injury:

How many times do we hear of someone blaming the victim? The killer molests and strangles her as part of his sick fantasy. When he realizes it, he goes through a range of emotion. The first being anger. "Damn it! Why did you make me do that! You were teasing me!" He hits her. Then the remorse begins to set in. He covers her with the blanket, and lays the sports jersey across her. This is actually a very common pattern of emotion. I see this with my kids at times.

Example, my son read my 8 year old's diary. His first defense, "She left it out! I only read stuff I already knew." When he began to understand the invasion, and betrayed trust, he became very remorseful.

IIRC, didn't the ME determine that there was no sexual activity with the child.

Maybe the perp was an employee who hated John Ramsey.

1) The perp knew of the $118,000

2) The perp had a lot anger "toward" jonbenet.

3) The perp knew something of the residence.

I am sticking with John Douglas on this one.
