Kerr didn't know her...thats the thing. This idiot did not travel around...he was a Bama local...attending college during during this period. If you read his personal history....married at 19 to some 13-year-old girl...which was annulled a month later. Married a bit later to a 16-year-old girl. The guy has a fascination...no doubt...but to travel around in circles where he might have met the family and the girl....nope, it did not happen. He was at the lower end of the economic spectrum....and not the type to fit into the Ramsey level.
This entire story is about his fascination with the case...and a love fantasy with Jon-Benet...who was already dead at that point. Nothing more. The whole case will fall apart in the next 10 days as this becomes obvious. And the charges against him in the US....mostly all misdimenors right now and I doubt he can get more than six months of real jail time. He will be back in Alabama by end of next year....selling used cars. Trust me...this is a certified nut...but not the murder type. And will he marry some 13-year-old girl again? Oh yeah....I will bet a case of Bud on that scenario.
Oh, I could see him being the perp in a number of possible outstanding sex crimes with little girls but NOT the one they are hoping to solve. There's just too many very loose ends to make this an open-and-shut case.
I did read the high school entry that Karr supposedly wrote and he does use the same "hooked" a that stood out in the ransom note but not consistently. I have a hard time believing the handwriting is a match but it could with a few more samples to compare against.
