That sketch hits on about 7 out of ten points compared to the picture. It would be interesting to see how he combed his hair in 1996, and how much less he weighed then. The biggest discrepency is the chin line, but that might be weight and age progression related. Overall, it's a chilling comparison.

Remember, that sketch came from the Ramsey's psychic. Is it possible that the Ramseys, or a grandparent fed this guy the facts of the case, and sort of 'encouraged' his confession, so the heat could be taken off of the Ramseys? Perhaps they found this guy obsessed with the case and planned to pin it on him and had the drawing made from his photo. Note: this is wildly speculative conjecture.

I agree with you. I think it is him. His hairline in pictures some years ago, shows much more hair. His hair has receded more recently and he has lost a lot of weight. It is the deepset eyes that look the most like him to me.
