I don't think choroform would show up......besides, they would have to LOOK for a specific drug....

I don't know what they tested her for.......but I bet it wasn't much ....

Chloroform can be detected readily using the Fujiwara test.

Often there will be blisters where the chloroform touched the skin, especially in a forced chloroform poisoning case.

Although acute poisoning with chloroform is rare, it is easily proved in a normal postmortem toxicology exam.

An autopsy can reveal chloroform as a cause in death.

Because of the suspected violent application of a volatile compound and to avoid a loss of tissue concentration the samples for toxicological investigations were taken at the very beginning of the autopsy. The detailed results showed that a chloroform poisoning has been the only cause of death.

If the autopsy is any thing like the investigators, I have no trust in it.
