I asked a question. Sitting here at my desk, I don't have the slightest idea where I spent Christmas 1996. I am sure it was in one of two places, but I'd have to do a little research (pictures, etc.) to tell you which. Someone said my brother was in Colorado then, I'd say "no he wasn't, he was with me." If I added the place to that sentence without doing research, there is a 50% chance I'd be wrong.
The fact that people are wrong - and either the brother or the wife is wrong - doesn't mean they are lying.
