I hope authorities talk with the parents of those other kids and then with the kids themselves.

Sigh. Did you even read my comments? I already addressed that. It does not matter whether the guy IDed himself by sending weird e-mails. You first have to trace those e-mails which may or may not (depending on whether the guy covered his tracks) give you an idea of where the guy is. Assuming that part was easy, you still have to find out where he is currently and apprehend him which takes a lot of cooperation with foreign law enforcement. Tons of people escape overseas and are never captured. I think this one time where they actually did get a suspect they were interested in that it's appropriate to give kudos where kudos are due and that's with the Thailand police.

I guess she's been watching Nifong in action lately.
___

lol

That is exactly what I was thinking.

This DA also attended the funeral of Patsy Ramsey.....bad thing to do, imo.

was it clear he emailed Patsy? I thought he emailed some Colorado college professor who had written a book about the case? or did he email both of them?

We need to hear from the FReeper who uses the tagline, "Stop the Nifongery!" We may have another publicity hound DA on our hands.

Come on people, do you really think the DA from CO is having this guy being brought here to the states from Thailand if she didn't have more evidence than what she is telling us?

This DA knows for a fact if this guy was in CO in 1996 the night JonBenet was murdered. She also knows if his handwriting matches the ransom note. DOn't be fooled by the lack of information given to the media. This DA knows way more than what we do and she wouldn't have brought this guy back to the states if she didn't!

1) They are rich,

That has nothing to do with it

2) The daughter was a kiddie beauty padget contestant,

That certainly could be a factor. What they were doing to that kid was beyond abnormal. As was suggested in an earlier post, photos of this girl dressed up like a cowgirl hooker were very probably very popular among members of the little girl equivalent of NAMBLA.

3) The mother was less than media savvy.

If the parents...both of them...had *tried* to appear guilty, they couldn't have done a better job than what they actually did in the days, weeks, months after the murder.

*Everyone* knows that when a child (or a woman) is murdered the first people the cops visit are the relatives...particularly the *male* relatives. If she was my daughter,I would have told the cops "fine,I understand what you're doing.I'm going to cooperate with your office 100%.You'll have complete, unlimited access to my house *whenever* you want it.You have my permission to remove *anything* from my house that you wish for tests and examination. You'll have unlimited access to *me* whenever you want.I'll answer *every single* question you might put to me.I'll take as many polygraph tests you want.I'll give you any kind of biological sample you want.In so doing, you'll obviously be able to quickly rule me out as a suspect and, thus, will be able to get on with the task of finding the actual killer(s)."

Neither of the Ramseys took a position that even remotely resembles the one that I would have taken.

It sickens me that his family is treating him like a saint when we already know so much about his past.

This is the second time you've said that and it's not quite accurate.

The wife divorced him after his 2001 arrest and conviction in abstentia for the child pornography charges. She worked with a judge to ensure he has zero access to his children. None. A woman who thinks her ex-husband is a saint would not do that.

The father didn't even know his son was alive and certainly hasn't treated him like a saint, although he doesn't think his son committed the murder. And it's a pretty long list of people who have serious questions about that matter.

The brother was interviewed on Greta's show last night and hadn't seen his brother since 2001 and although he was defending his brother, I don't think he believes he's a saint.

Based mostly on opportunity and access the kid had to JBR as well as the parents motive for protecting their son. Therefore, dad is culpable.

You're right that Thailand is pedophilia central, but they are trying to change their image and this is a good step so I applaud them for that. The guy just signed up a few days ago to work at a Thailand school, so it's a darn good thing they got him now.

HE was in contact with the college professor, that is who alerted authorities that this guy knew way more than he should according to reports. Karr himself claims he also emailed and sent letters to Patsy Ramsey, but I haven't seen a confirmation of this (although I may have missed it)

Excerpt from today's Denver Post:

"In truth, John Karr was being held while awaiting trial for five counts of child pornography, said Sgt. Rob Giordano, spokesman for the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department. When he finally was released on bond, he disappeared and was convicted in absentia. "Wexford Karr had never heard that his son had been arrested on any previous criminal charges. But a Colorado state official said John Karr has an extensive criminal record for sexual assaults across the South, including Tennessee."

It is incredible that this man that had no prior contact with the family and has no record of living in Colorado happened to pick that house and all. Weird? /sarc

This "cesspect" traveled a LOT around the world and that takes M-O-N-E-Y. Where did he get the money? No doubt his porn arrest involved a lot more people and is a lot larger and more widespead than meets the eye....sick, sick deviants.

Reports/articles yesterday said he e-mail Patsy. It was reported on the radio last night as well. Early reports are often wrong, but that's what was reported.
