either that or Karr is one hellofa magician...
There's supposed to be a press conference this morning. If his DNA matches then he's toast.
About all I can get out of this is that someone is lying.
This guy is completely delusional. Here is a link to his resume:
http://www.job4teacher.com/Candidates/JohnKarr.html
He calls molesting children, 'teaching'. This guy should be hung, whether or not he did kill JonBenet.
Maybe the sick bastard just had fantasies about it, who knows. His poor ex-wife. She must feel real low for marrying such an evil POS.
there is a story in the denver post that says:
"John Karr had disappeared after his release from jail in 2001. Karr, who relatives said had long spoken of a fascination with the Ramsey case, told his father at the time that he was being held for investigation of murdering the girl.
In truth, John Karr was being held while awaiting trial for five counts of child pornography, said Sgt. Rob Giordano, spokesman for the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department. When he finally was released on bond, he disappeared and was convicted in absentia."
this concerns me, especially since his ex-wife says he was with her in dec 96 in alabama. the fact that he's an expert on the case and has spoken with the grandparents might explain why he knows things about the case that the general public doesn't know.
then, of course, i have to admit it, this still does not explain the whole thing...
Here we go.

Excerpt:
The American suspect in the JonBenet Ramsey murder case said publicly Thursday he was with the 6-year-old when she died and called her death "an accident," a stunning admission that will help answer 10 years of questions in the unsolved murder case.
"I was with JonBenet when she died," John Mark Karr told reporters in Bangkok, visibly nervous and stuttering as he spoke. "Her death was an accident."
Police said Karr, 41, admitted to the killing after he was arrested Wednesday at his downtown Bangkok apartment by Thai and American authorities.
The arrest was based after a 4 year period where he contacted a college professor via email about committing the crime. They have been after him for a long time, and finally found out where he was.
Hmmm. Another interesting (and puzzling) development.
The dude looks just like Jon Bonett...hmmm..
I thought they had been investigating this guy for a month or better. You mean to tell me they didn't ask people he knew and especially a wife/ex-wife his whereabouts on the day in question over the course of a month? |
Just when I think this case can't get any weirder . . .
it does.
This guy is obsessed with the case and completely delusional. Probably made a lucky guess on some obscure fact about the murder.
This is a strange case. Part of me says I hope he did it, and he is convicted. But something tells me this could be a publicity stunt to sell his book, and a method of escape from the Thailand prison. He seems like a mental case who started living the stories in his book. Just a gut feeling...
This is going to be a media circus. We'll all just have to wait and see whether this is the guy, or just a wannabe.
I'm simply not going to speculate on this case. It's way too iffy.
They need to muzzle Karr and get him to the US immediately. This pretrial publicity will be exploited by the defense lawyer.
"I was with JonBenet when she died,"
But the suspect's ex-wife said she was with him in Alabama at the time of JonBenet's 1996 death.
The brother said last night on Greta he was in Atlanta that Christmas at a family gathering.
So, is anyone telling the truth?
