Patsy Ramsey was ostricized...shunned. A friend of mine moved in her neighborhood and got to know her well. Both of their boys were in baseball together. My friend commented about how nice and polite she was. She did have a core group of friends. After a while, I'm sure the public accepted her again...to a point.
You know what...good for your friend - she kept an open mind. You are lucky to have such a friend. How awful for Patsy to have to continually meet people who think you did this horrible, horrible thing.
If this pans out and clears the Ramseys of suspicions, it will be truly a good thing. What she must have suffered in the years before she died.
Parenthetically I always believed someone in the family did the crime. I never could decided who did it but I thought they were guilty, one of them.
Pity cannot begin to describe what I feel for this woman, if this man killed her daughter.
