I certainly could be wrong, but I cant explain the flesh colored pixels on top of the news print. You'd be amazed at how stray color creeps into uniform or "white" areas in photographs that you only notice when you zoom in. In fact my experience is that the truly fake looking photos are when there isn't some variation in shades around the edges of flat objects.
