Be careful of the authorities. They have different ways of doing things there than in the US. You can end up in jail for simply being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

"They" makes me think you don't live around here.
The LEOs in NC are very friendly if you act like a mature adult. When stopped by an LEO a simple "Yes officer, can I help you" goes a lot further than "FU".
