Don Henley Must Die! Don't let him get back together With Glenn Frey!
<<<

This reminds me of the greatest concert I ever saw -- Mojo Nixon at a small club in Baton Rouge in 1988. He was hilarious and rockin'. His opener was a local Louisiana band called The Dick Nixons, all of whose songs were about you-know-who -- "Dick Nixon fought the law, and the law won" is one lyric I remember, others were "Walk Like A Dick Nixon" & "(If You Don't Bring Dick Nixon Back) We're Gonna Paint The White House Black". I recall somebody was there with a video camera shooting the show -- I'd love to get a copy of that tape. It was truly a magic night.

I enjoyed hanging out at the Scotch and Sirloin Restaurant at the corner of Pico and Sepulvada (1975) where the Beach Boys and The Eagles would come to informally jam.

That place was the home of the "Reverse Margarita" and the prettiest California surfer girls you ever did see.
