Which is worse? The Hummer at a snail's pace with the driver on a blue tooth? Or a Suburban at full throttle with the driver on a PDA?
Okay, what really peeves me is people who eat like Atilla the Hun and say, "I always eat like this and I never gain a pound!" Pfffttt.

The irony is that the stoopid people are still asleep anyway and never watch that stuff. These are the same ones who can't take their kids to the doctor's office and jam up the emergency rooms when their kid's got a stuffy nose, medicaid letter in hand. [/rant]

Maybe after you've had one too many!
I was once a bartender...margarita is the drink or Rita as I like to call them. Frozen or on the rocks?......salt or no salt? Can't fool a Texan!
As most of you probably know.......people over 40 having their first children really gets me riled.

Well the media hasn't demonized it yet, But Ipods in cars are distracting and dangerous.

Snall towns = good old days. Etiquette + Christianity = civility.
Yes indeed. There's few jobs to be had around here, though. I'll probably end up in Nashville before it's over with, and as far as cities go, that's a pretty good one.

That is what I'm saying! You'd have loved this. Today I took the bus downtown and this Indian lady was practically clinging to the bus driver the whole way mysteriously jabbering. He could not even answer her, let alone barely drive the bus, for her squawking. When we got to this one area she realized she was near the mother lode and wanted out. She then switched from Indian lingo to "Social Security! Social Security!" She did in fact get off and headed straight to the correct building. I know not what she could get but she was adamant.

I used to have a friend who was a nay-sayer like that. Finally got smart and found a better friend. May I suggest that you get new friends and re-think the whole drive-through thing while you're at it. Treat yourself like you'd treat the best person in your life -- which I hope would be better than what you're doing for yourself so far with regard to friends and food! Five years from now you may look back at how you live today and say, "I can't believe I used to think that crap was okay."
Me, I get irritated ... well, MORE than irritated, as in burning rage, at people who throw their trash (usually fast-food trash) out of their cars and onto the roadside. I have the urge to heave a rock through their rear windows, or at the very least a dozen eggs onto the hoods of their cars. Pigs, all of them!!

Don't misunderstand: my friends are very loving people, and the situations aren't as blatant as I'm describing. Also, to be honest, I'm a temperamental and they sometimes like to twit me just for fun. Believe me, they are the best friends a man could ask for. Sometimes, they just irritate a bit. But that's with any relationship and I'm sure I irritate them in some way on occassion as well.

Say! I think you're onto something! We can start giving bad information to these freeloader-wannabees and watch 'em scramble. Better than an armadillo race, I bet. LOL!
Had I been the driver, I'd have thrown her off. Putting everyone in danger like that.

I overlooked this before. Here's what I do for tailgaters during the daytime:
I flick on my lights. He thinks momentarily I've hit my brakes and backs off. They usually get the message, but it makes 'em mad. I confess, my true Christian self always has to remind myself about road rage and !#^^! remarks and being nice even when not treated so.

What really annoys me is people who put "Baby On Board" bumper stickers on their cars. As if I would purposely rear-end them had I not been aware of the fact. Also people who put "My son is an honor roll student at blah-blah-blah school" bumper stickers on their cars. I did see a good counterpoint bumper sticker to that though that said "My son flunked out of 10th grade and he'll kick your honor roll student son's ass!"

Perhaps. I sure have to agree with you one something -- that's tailgaters!! If it wasn't too much verbage for a bumper sticker, I'd have one that said: DEAD TAILGATERS = DARWINISM IN ACTION. Thank goodness I once had a friend who broke me out of my very bad habit of tailgating by ceaslessly nagging me about it once on a roadtrip.
