What a moronic thing to say.

There's one in every crowd. Don't feed it and it'll go away....

This family has suffered unspeakable loss. All my prayers to them.

So do you propose outlawing motorcycles and nail guns, both very near & dear to my heart?

Not at all. But some people don't seem to understand that this is a website where people post news articles and other people comment on them. The relative chance of dying while riding a motorcycle would seem (in a sane world) to be an appropriate comment to post to an article about motorcycle deaths.

Even Blue Jays posted in 13 that one shouldn't drive (especially motorcycles) while under significant emotional stress. Blue Jays doesn't seem to be getting flamed for his (especially motorcycles) post that indicates that he believes that there is some difference between the safety of cars and motorcycles.

In 2005, 4,315 U.S. motorcyclists died. In 2005, 4,641 U.S. pedestrians died. In 2005, U.S. fatalities from large truck crashes numbered 5,226.

Tell me Sparky, do you point to people walking down the sidewalk and chime out "Organ Donor" in a singsong voice? What about people sitting in a Truck Stop; do you wag your bony finger at them and laugh at their "donor" status as well?

Not even a liberal would be dense enough to fall for your bogus statistics. Total deaths are an ABSOLUTELY meaningless way to compare vehicle deaths. (How many people died last year in space travel? Zero? Does that make it perfectly safe?)

According to the NHTSA, motorcyclists are 32 times more likely to die than occupants of other vehicles PER MILE TRAVELLED. This from a PRO-MOTORCYCLE Site!

You need to get a larger-sized helmet, you're not getting any oxygen to your brain...

Do you use every coffin for a soapbox, or do you have some shred of decency?

It is obvious you don't ride motorcycles, and frankly none of the bikers I know would have your sorry butt around.

From your about page....

I'm a Reagan Republican with strong libertarian leanings. "That government is best that governs least."

How do you reconcile your remarks with that statement? Or is 'Libertarian" in your peabrain a license to act with no shred of decorum, decency, or respect for the dead (or living)?

If you want to lift your leg on a kickstand, why not save it for a thread about helmet laws instead of milking this tragedy like some anti-gun liberal would a shooting?

Find a post where I have advocated government action such as helmet laws or any type of ban.

Libertarian does not mean stupid. One can look at statistics and make decisions for themselves.

This is a website where articles are posted and commented on. It is NOT intended as a prayer thread, although I have NEVER complained about any post along those lines.

Had the post stated "My son died..." or "My brother died...", I would not have responded with statistics. This post was about a newspaper article.

You need a smaller sized mouth (or access to the internet) because you are a pure jacla$$.

Take your bogus statistics complaints up with the author.
