So you're equating not sexualizing our pre-teen girls with some sort of Taliban-style oppression of women?

We're not talking burkas, brain-trust, we're talking about not letting them wear micro shorts and minis, tight baby-t shirts that say Porn Star or Tramp in pink glitter, shorts that say JUICY across the butt, etc.

Or do you not get the subtle nuance of that? (You should know all about nuance, aren't most libs complaining that we dunderheaded right wingers don't understand 'nuance')

I live in Northern AZ. I can drive up to the border towns so popular with the Mormon cult groups and show you HUNDREDS of young girls dressed as if they are auditioning for a road show version of Little House On The Prairie. It certainly does not keep them from being abused. As I have said in the past, while the ideas and advice are legitimate and worthy of discussion I strongly suspect the agenda for many people goes much further and encompasses much more than just provacative dress. Ultimately however if it is not your child and it is nothing illegal or something that may violate school dress codes (Which I wholeheartedly approve of) it is the parents responsibility and no one else's
