Linux is still foreign software, obviously. Novell is just selling it, like a toyota dealer here in the states that puts their own mudflaps and bug screens on while it's in the lot.

I guess you don't realize that most Toyotas sold here are made in America using American labor, and they're building new American plants so they can build even more in America. A Camry is 75% US parts and made in America, making it one of the most American cars you can buy. Meanwhile, a Ford Mustang is is made in America but only has 65% American parts, which means it technically doesn't even make the cut for "Made in America." And the Dodge Charger isn't even made in America.

I've posted similar factoids to him previously; for whatever reason, the information doesn't seem to register.

I discovered a little piece of paper in my glove compartment that says my 2002 Impala is 87% "Made in North America" parts--and assembled in Canada.

So much for Chevrolet being "All-American."
