Flannery O'Connor.

That you should mention Flannery. An absolute master in her own right. Her short stories, The Misfit. Wise Blood. The Strong Bear it Away and A Good Man is Hard to Find. I digress, as I usually do.

Another scenario though. A small boy, his mind twisted and warped by crude interpretations of the bible. He sets fire to Madonnas mansion. He believes he has purified Madonna.

Seriously though, I care not for the woman, or whether she goes smiling to the grave. I do care for what example she has set young women. They do not get away unscathed, that SHE has, defies logic.
