This undated but recent photo, supplied by Orange County Choppers, shows actor Bill Murray, second from right, as he stopped by the Orange County Choppers shop in Montgomery, N.Y., where he worked with Paul Teutul Sr., left, to assemble the 'Caddyshack' inspired theme bike, foreground. The finished bike can be seen on cable's Discovery Channel's 'American Chopper on Monday,Aug. 7, 2006, with another epispode on Aug.14. It was eventually auctioned at the annual Murray Bros. I love bikes, but the impractical BS bikes they build on that show are more stupid than stupendous. I am not impressed
Most of them look like a motorcycle version of the Munsters car, not a bike you would ride on the street.

OCC builds custom show bikes for the TV series but they also build nice custom road bikes.

I'm sure you're right. I guess a 'real' bike would be too dull for cable.

One of their "road worthy" bikes. Jessie James on the other hand won't build show bikes. Nuthin but riders.

Hi All- Bill Murray himself was the top bidder in that benefit auction and he will be the owner of the Caddyshack motorcycle.

In Kentucky, we used to call that "Rohan Rocket Reefer".

With very few exceptions, after 3 years their recipe is very unimaginative/trite:
monster engine
hard tail
Ridiculous rake
OCC ain't "builders", they're parts hangers.

Can anyone tell me what motorcycle this is? It is from the 1931 Marx Brothers movie, "Duck Soup".

Almost looks like my old bosses 1912-1915 Harley Davidsons. With the pedals, etc. but the cylinder doesn't look right for a twin. Not a BMW, maybe a Brit bike from that far back.
OK, I can't really see enough of it to know. (No tank badge visible)
