The only thing you see is your own distorted projection Ah. Ad hominem. Do you have anything besides insults to ad to the discussion?
I can tell by your responses you walk in the footsteps of Jesus. He also insulted people He disagreed with, right?

Mt 23:2727"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean."

When I saw the title to this thread I had high hopes for constructive discussion, what with all the well educated Freepers of science backgrounds. Sadly, the same disease that dominates all the crevo threads has infected this one also. Which is sort of surprising since the topic is so neutral regarding the Creator.

You can't expect everyone to live up to their professed beliefs - talking the talk is soooo much easier than walking the walk.

That you don't agree with the theory of evolution does not make it either a religion or a cult. Science marches on, whether you say yea or nay.
You may have just stated the cause of a lot of the rage we see in so many of the anti-evo posters. Science, including ToE, just doesn't care what their (or anyone else's) opinions/beliefs are. It treats Christianity and Islam with the same deference it shows Shnto and shamanism: "Where's the evidence that this story is true?".

If there is rage on either side it stems from condescension and or ridicule methods used by posters. Both sides are becoming quite adept at destroying perfectly good threads with food fights. Meanwhile, those who would like to read the articles and intelligent discussion end up wandering off to something else when the juvenile taunting begin flying to and fro. Fortunately, posters such as PH and Ichy have posted extensive refernce materials on their profile pages, so there's plenty to read when the children start the tantrums.

I have never said or inferred that at all. That is yet once again more of your own distorted projection.

You gotta love this place. Every nook and cranny of the Bell Curve is well represented.

What beliefs have I professed?
However I agree with you here (believe it or not) "talking the talk is soooo much easier than walking the walk" So thats why I don't infer nor suggest I am walking the walk
I have consciously walked the walk a time or two in this life, it is a thing that takes the entirety of my being.
And we are all on the walk, consciously or not.

Conveniently, according to the theory of relativity any frame of reference is acceptable. Pick whichever you like.

Since you are not, I won't hold you to that standard.

Pardon your ignorance. I can remember one episode on record: Jesus became angry in the temple. But he wasn't insulting. He warning them to become righteous or suffer the consequences.

Since you are so learned, I will just ask you to look up the definition of the word, "puerile". I think it applies to you.
You are cute, but not that cute!

It's interesting that you refer to other people's standards, as if you have any yourself...
