Girlfriend: Dyleski talked about torturing children

MARTINEZ -- Accused killer Scott Dyleski engaged in sado masochism, talked about beating and breaking the necks of children and was curious about how the human body would function without certain organs, his girlfriend testified Thursday.

A visibly uncomfortable Jena Reddy, 18, told jurors in Contra Costa Superior Court that Dyleski didn't admit to killing his Lafayette neighbor Pamela Vitale in October but didn't deny it either.

After Vitale was killed, Dyleski had scratches on his face and his right hand and arm were swollen, she said. She added, however, that she was the source of scratches on his back that occurred during S&M activity between the couple.

Dyleski, 17, wiped away a tear at one point as Reddy testified in open court for the first time.

Prosecutors are attempting to show that Dyleski had a dark side to his personality. Jewett has described Reddy in court documents as key witness who would testify about "a very, very dark aspect of the relationship between the witness and the defendant."

Reddy, whose attorney Gloria Allred sat in the front row of the gallery, frequently paused before responding to prosecutor Harold Jewett's questions. She averted her eyes and looked downward while discussing details of her intimate contact with Dyleski.

"Did you consider Scott to be a sadomasochist in September and October of last year?" Jewett asked.

She hesitated before answering, "Yes."

"Did the two of you experiment with pain?" Jewett asked.

"Yes," she replied.

Jewett asked, "Did your threshold of pain change with Scott? Did it go up or down?"

"It went up," she said.

"You could withstand more pain as time went on?" he asked.

"Yes," she said.

Reddy, who returns to the stand Monday, said she and Dyleski had discussed torturing children who were "loud or annoying"

If this guy was framed, an awful lot of people were involved in it.

Dear God. These are 17 and 18 year old people we're talking about here. What sort of culture produces people that young, already into a perverted lifestyle??

MTV, Sex in the City, goth, gangsta rap, sex ed in public skrule, even Rosanne Barr's impudent, disrepectful TV children.

I read a story earlier tonight about a crime from the early '90's. Four girls, ages 15-17, all lesbians decided to murder a 12 year old girl who was having a lesbian relationship with the 17 year old girl's girlfriend. In my mind I'm trying to figure out why these girls are even sexual, much less having figured out they are already lesbians.

Not a good read, but this was a real eye opener for me. http://www.crimelibrary.com/notorious_murders/young/shanda_sharer/1.html

More and more pain, the GF said. Higher threshold. Ugh, this is so sickening. Surely she gets the connection between what happened to Pamela and what could've happened to her.

Then again, maybe not. Don't you know her father, mother and grandmother are so proud of her? (Well, at least she is testifying and it's incriminating and she's being truthful, as distasteful as it is.)
