Thanks for the Ping.
When I was stationed on Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay, I occasionally had watch on a pier (When the US Navy ran the place) and at night, in the dense fog, it was somehow eeriely exciting to hear the bells come and go in the shroud over the water.
