I'm a woman, too. And I guessed correctly. Not because one is more attractive than the other. I think it comes down to one looking more serious while the other is smiling. I can picture the serious-looking woman holding the paper saying: "We have to cut spending and lower taxes." And I can picture the smiling woman talking about universal health care and then giving the peace sign. I don't know why.

Btw, most people would guess I'm liberal - my hair is down to my waist, and as a mom raising young kids, I'm not the tailored type at all. ;-)

I agree with all the posts you've made on this thread, HairOfTheDog. The humor is sophomoric and I guess I'm just not sophisticated enough to enjoy it.

When I saw the pictures, I really had no clue and thought the first one was surrounded by blue so she HAD to be the democrat but then when I scrolled down the second lady looks very much like she's been cast from the same mold as Barbara Botox, so I REALLY couldn't tell AT ALL.

I especially agree with your statement, "Politics is issues.... not looks." Thanks for that gem and oh that it were more frequently true.

It zings right over my head too but I usually join in on the "guilty or innocent" threads about female sex offenders, with the verdict based entirely on their looks, even though I believe that women molesting boys is no less serious than men molesting girls.

Let's face it, if Hillary were conservative she would be our darling.

Ann Coulter is an example. If she were a lib, we would all be talking about how ugly she is.

Disclaimer - I am neutral on Ann's looks. She doesn't appeal to me but she's not butt ugly either.
