But for some reason they capitalized the A in ancient. That doesn't look right.

I seriously wonder how this, and so many other ancient medicines, have been lost within a thousand years or so ago, only to be found again now.
Makes one wonder how much other ancient technology was known back then, lost to civilization??
New World, anyone???

Think about this - when we industrialized the us, we ran telephone wires everywhere.
They are now being taken down.

I'm starting to like having a coating of insects (attracted to the honey).
I think I'll do it again tomorrow just for the reaction it creates among the neighbors....they all do bees:

This neighbor girl is just learning. Her dad can make them land in formation and form a "bee beard":

Try walking into Wal-Mart like that. Back in my college days (early 60's) I would have tried it.

Isn't that where the saying came from, "You ain't nothing but a honed dog?" WARS have started over less than that.

Hey Pete, I think I've used a lot of Shawnee Mission products and mixes in my kitchen.
I have very, very good friends in Ada and around the Kiamichie A(sp?) valley.
We all worked together on the Navajo reservation years ago.
Take care.

NM, (New Mexico?)
I'm on the Kansas Missouri border; Shawnee Mission is actually a postal district that developed around an Indian mission near here. I'm not certain, but it sounds like Shawnee Mission is also a trade name. Kit Carson came from St Joe, a little bit north of here.
Not certain, but it sounds like you are a couple of days ride west of me.
From the sound of it you have had some interesting times.

Pete

Pete,
Thanks for the reply.
I live in Flagstaff, AZ these days.
Hope to get out to SE OK this fall after the weather cools down a bit.
