Where have I said I was willing to do anything. There have been days and days and days of vanities about MEL, while it appears the world is going to .ell in a hand-basket.

I do not know MEL, but when a crusade begins and everything Mel did and said is the ONLY leaking done giving the appearance that he is a rabid hater and is totally consumed with that hate 24/7 I would like to see proof.

Why did they not just shooooot him and be done with it? There sure seems to be the evidence he was a threat.

Come on! They didn't shoot him because he was MEL! I do think, if they didn't know who he was, it is possible that they might shoot him. Remember the manic guy that was shot on an airplane? Manic people often do crazy, destructive things. (I suppose I have to note on every post that it is my opinion that Gibson is manic.) In the long run, I think Mel and his family will be better off for this arrest -- in a personal sense anyway. It could have been much worse. Professionally, he may be ruined and that is a shame, because he is a brilliant director.
